*There are no other manufacturers that use Breton Technology to make this product. It is designed to be an entry level builder material that shares the same characteristics as quartz. Available in cut to size shower panels that are 1.2cm and jumbo slabs that are 1.2cm or 1.5cm slabs.

ATLAS WHITE is composite engineered stone based on marble & quartz. Stronger than pure natural marble. Feldspar (silicate) is a main part of granite which is considered very close to quartz (silica dioxide). High performance quality polyester resin is used to bind marble and quartz chips from local Czech sources. It would not be defined as Agglomerated Marble as it performs far better and is harder on the Mohs Scale.
Durable: Because Atlas White is made with Marble and Quartz (26%) it is stronger that natural marble. Atlas White's impact resistance outperforms both granite and marble. Atlas White can also be used in bathrooms and other wet areas. Piedrafina is prone to scratching, etching and staining. Because Atlas White contains Quartz it is far more durable and less prone to staining and etching which makes it considerable for kitchens.

Outside Use Approved: No, Atlas cannot be used outside as the resins used in it to bond the material is not UV resistant
Non-porous: Materials made from quartz are non-porous
Low maintenance: Same as Quartz, Atlas White's non-porous nature allows for virtually care-free surfaces that don’t need to be sealed. To clean stains and maintain luster, wipe with soap and water or a mild detergent. There’s no need to worry about bacteria buildup because mold and mildew won’t be able to penetrate the non-porous surface. This is not the case with granite as it has many minute pours that can harbor bacteria.
