European Quartz is green
At European Quartz, managing and minimizing our impact on the environment in both our product offerings and our daily operations is an important part of our business. We want our product to have a big impact on our customers, not our environment.
European Quartz upholds a responsibility to conserve resources that begins in the production phase. By investing in eco-friendly technologies, we’re able to substantially reduce our footprint and produce a more sustainable product.
Many of our quartz slabs are bound together using a solvent-free bio resin made from linseed oil extracted from flax seeds, an effective alternative to non-renewable, petroleum-based binders.
During processing, 97 percent of the water used in European Quartz plants and fabrication facilities is recycled through a series of advanced settling and filtering techniques.
Some of our products contain as much as 40% pre-consumer recycled content, a claim that’s voluntarily certified by SCS Global, a third-party environmental and sustainability certification company.
European Quartz is produced on the latest Bretonstone® machinery to ensure zero VOC evaporation during production of the product. Our modern production facility, combined with 100% natural raw materials, contribute to the Greenguard® Gold certification for low-emission on many of the quartz products we offer.
From the factory to your home, European Quartz helps keep the air clean for future generations.
